How Zedon works
A quick guide to going from an idea to a released song.
1. Create an account
Sign up with an email and password. Your account and everything you create are stored privately on your device — nothing is uploaded to a server.
2. Add credits
Zedon runs on credits. Top up from the Bank section of your dashboard using M-Pesa (minimum KES 100). One Kenyan shilling equals one credit.
- Writing a lyric draft — 5 credits
- Each AI refine in chat — 2 credits
- Producing a full song — 20 credits
3. Write your lyrics
Describe your song idea, pick the vocal language (Swahili, Sheng, English or mixed), and let the AI write a first draft. Then refine it in chat — ask for more energy, a stronger hook, or a different verse until it's yours.
4. Shape the sound
Choose a genre and mood — Afrobeats, Gengetone, Drill, Amapiano, Reggae, Gospel, freestyle, acoustic, live band and more — plus tempo and vocal style. These choices directly shape the production.
5. Produce & preview
Zedon produces a full track with a clean intro and outro. Preview it with synced lyrics, then download the audio and lyrics whenever you like.
6. Release with Kentuenz
When you're happy, distribute for free through Kentuenz. Add your track details, cover art, territories and stores — and your song goes live worldwide, usually within 3–5 business days.
