Privacy Policy

Your privacy matters. This policy explains what we store, where we store it, and the limited cases where third parties are involved.

1. Local-first by design

Zedon stores your account, profile, tracks, history and documents on your own device. We do not upload your music library or creative history to a central server.

2. What we store on your device

• Your account details (email, username) and a hashed password.
• Your generated songs, lyrics and documents.
• Your credit balance and payment records.

Your password is never stored in plain text — it is secured using a salted cryptographic hash.

3. Third-party services

Some features send data to trusted providers only to perform a specific task:

• AI generation — your lyric prompts and audio are sent to AI providers to generate lyrics and music.
• Payments — M-Pesa (via PayHero) process your top-ups. Your full payment details are handled by these providers, not stored by us.
• Distribution — release details you submit are shared with Kentuenz to deliver your music to stores.

4. What we don't do

• We don't sell your personal data.
• We don't run third-party advertising on your library.
• We don't access your tracks without your action.

5. Your control

You can export all your data as a file at any time from Settings → Export my data, and you can log out to remove your active session.
